2. License Grant

You agree not to:

• Copy, distribute, resell, rent, or commercially utilize the App

• Interfere with the normal operation, security, or Bluetooth communication protocols of the App


3. No Account Required


This App does not require user registration, login accounts, passwords, or membership services. All device pairing records and personal preference settings are stored locally on your device. No user personal data is mandatory for using core functions.


4. User Responsibilities


You are solely responsible for:


• Maintaining the security of your mobile device


• Properly operating the smart curling iron hardware following official safety instructions


• Using the App in compliance with local laws, regulations, and public order


• Ensuring your Bluetooth connection environment is safe and stable


We are not responsible for hardware misuse, improper operation, third-party device failures, or environmental interference causing connection failures.


5. Intellectual Property Rights


All intellectual property rights within the App, including but not limited to software code, interface design, text graphics, functional logic, and hardware communication protocols, belong exclusively to [Your Company Name]. 1. Information We Request and How We Use It
Our App requires Bluetooth access on your mobile device to perform its core functionality. Bluetooth permission is used exclusively to scan for, discover, establish, and maintain a wireless connection between your smartphone and the compatible smart curling iron. Through this Bluetooth connection, the App transmits control commands including temperature adjustment, styling timer configuration, preset mode switching, and synchronization of your custom hair-styling preferences.

All styling presets, saved temperature values, timer settings and device pairing records are stored locally on your mobile device by default. These local settings are not automatically uploaded to our cloud servers. We will only receive information that you actively and voluntarily provide to us, such as content submitted when you send customer feedback, technical support requests or bug reports. Such information may include the message text you write, optional device model information you provide to assist troubleshooting, and the timestamp of your submission.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location data, photos, camera data, contacts or any other personally identifiable information unless you choose to provide it voluntarily during support communication. We will not use collected support information for advertising, marketing or any purpose other than responding to your request and improving the stability and functionality of the App and compatible hardware.

2. Information We Do Not Collect
Unless explicitly stated in this policy, StyleM does not actively gather sensitive personal data. We do not track your geographic location, we do not access your photo library, microphone, camera, calendar, contact list or health records. We do not collect browsing history, and we do not build user profiles for targeted advertising. We do not use tracking technologies such as third‑party analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers or cookies within the App to monitor your behaviour across other applications or websites.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We will never sell, rent, trade, license or commercially distribute your personal information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We will not share your locally stored styling settings with any external companies, organisations or individuals.

We may disclose information only in limited circumstances: where we are required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulatory request; when disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, property, safety, or the safety of other users or members of the public; or to trusted service providers who assist us with support services, under strict data protection obligations that prohibit them from using the data for any other purpose.

4. Data Retention
Locally saved preferences remain stored on your own device until you manually delete the pairing record, clear the App cache, uninstall the App or reset your curling iron. Any support messages you send us will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your issue, after which we will archive or securely delete those records. If local data is voluntarily synchronised to our servers in future optional features, we will notify you clearly before such upload occurs, and provide you with ways to delete the synchronised data.

5. Your Rights and Choices
You retain full control over permissions granted to StyleM. At any time, you may revoke or disable Bluetooth permission for this App through the privacy settings on your iOS device. Once Bluetooth permission is withdrawn, core control functions of the App will no longer operate normally.

If you are a resident of regions covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or other relevant privacy legislation, you hold the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion of such data, and withdraw your consent for data processing where applicable. 6. Data Security
We adopt commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information processed through our App. Bluetooth communication between your phone and curling iron follows standard wireless communication protocols designed for hardware control. However, no electronic transmission or local storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect user information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Children’s Privacy
StyleM is not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have unintentionally obtained data from a child, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove that information promptly.
